Speedpaint workflow tips: how do you stay loose and fast?

I want to do a proper breakdown of the tablets I've actually used, not just spec comparisons. I've owned a Wacom Intuos Pro (medium), a Huion Kamvas 13, an XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro, and an iPad Pro 12.9-inch.

Wacom Intuus Pro: the driver reliability and pen feel are still the gold standard. The medium is slightly small for my hand but the pressure curve is perfect out of the box. If driver issues don't haunt you, it's the safe professional choice.

Huion Kamvas 13: punches well above its price. The display is accurate enough for illustration work. My main complaint is the pen eraser behavior and the driver needed more configuration than the Wacom before it felt natural.

XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro: incredible for the money at the large format tier. Color accuracy was slightly off on mine — needed calibration. But for concept art and environment painting, the large canvas is a real productivity boost.

Ipad Pro: already covered this in another thread, but the portability wins my daily use. If I'm doing production work with tight deadlines I'm on the XP-Pen. If I'm just drawing to draw, it's the iPad.
