Is 240Z worth getting into in 2024?

Cold weather storage for a classic is not parking it and walking away. The list of things that can go wrong over a winter is long and most of them are preventable.

Fuel: ethanol-blended fuel will absorb moisture and corrode fuel system components. Either drain the system completely or run the tank close to full and add a quality fuel stabilizer. I prefer to drain — it forces you to inspect the system in spring.

Battery: either remove and store on a maintainer inside, or connect a battery tender in the garage. A dead battery won't damage the battery if it happened once; repeated deep discharge will.

Tires: get the car off the floor if possible. Flat spots on cold tires take miles to work out and can cause permanent damage in severe cases.
