Beginner's guide to 240Z?

Just pulled the engine from my 1971 E-Type Series 3 V12. I want to document the process because there is genuinely almost nothing useful online for this specific job on a right-hand-drive car. The workshop manual helps but it assumes you have a professional lift and unlimited time.

The V12 is a beautiful engine and an absolute nightmare to work around. The exhaust manifolds are wrapped in a layer of other things. The fuel system access is terrible. And the wiring — oh, the wiring.

If anyone has done this job and has tips on the gearbox removal sequence, please reply. I've got the engine on the stand now but the transmission is fighting me.
