Herbert's ecological worldbuilding in Dune remains unmatched
So I recently picked up memoir and here's what I've learned:
- Start simple — don't try to do everything at once
- Be patient — it takes time to get good
- Ask questions — this community is incredibly helpful
- Document your progress — you'll be amazed looking back
