I see a lot of discussion about pistol squat vs L-sit and I think people are overthinking it. Here's my take:

front lever is great for beginners because it's more forgiving. push-up gives you more control but has a steeper learning curve.

At the end of the day, use what works for you. The best pistol squat is the one you'll actually use.
