Codenames Duet for two-player game nights

Pandemic Hot Zone is one of the best short implementations of the core Pandemic loop. You are playing in a specific region rather than the whole world, the game plays in 30-45 minutes, the event cards are region-specific and flavorful, and the constraint actually makes outbreak management more interesting by limiting the scale.

For groups with Pandemic experience who want a faster session, Hot Zone North America is the better standalone. For introducing new players, the original Pandemic remains superior because the global scale makes the theme more legible.

I would like to see more standalone spinoffs in this format — smaller-scope games that are genuinely complete rather than stripped down.
